ABOUT Suji Cheela RECIPE

An easy to cook dish whenever you are hungry or in a hurry.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Suji/ Semolina 1 cup
  2. Refined flour 1 tsp
  3. Yogurt 2 tbsp
  4. Water 1/4 cup (as required)
  5. Chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum 1 tbsp each
  6. Chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder a pinch
  9. Chilli flakes to sprinkle
  10. 1/4 tsp black pepper, crushed
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except the chilli flakes.
  2. Heat oil in non-stick skillet. Pour in around 3 tbsp batter and spread it out to make the cheela. Sprinkle chilli flakes on top.
  3. Heat both sides and serve it hot with sauce or chutney.
