Chocolate Almond Cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Almond Cake

  • Milkmaid- 340gms
  • sunflower oil - 90gms
  • Maida- 200gms
  • Cocoa- 40gms
  • Baking powder - 2tsp
  • Baking soda- 1 tsp
  • Water- 1/2 cup
  • For the ganache:
  • Heavy Whipped Cream- 200gms
  • Chopped dark chocolate cooking choclate- 300gms

How to make Chocolate Almond Cake

  1. Take a weighing scale and keep a bowl on it
  2. Add milkmaid and oil in it
  3. Now sieive all the dry ingredients in it as mentioned
  4. Add water to it for a smooth batter
  5. With the help a spatula use cut and fold method to mix the batter nicely
  6. See no lumps are left
  7. Take a 8 inch baking dish and place parchment paper in it
  8. Spray cooking oil all over so that the cake doesn't sticks to the bottom or at the sides
  9. In a preheated oven bake the cake at 160 degree for 30-35 mins at the lower rack of the OTG
  10. Take a toothpick and check by pricking in the cake if it comes out clean cake is completely baked
  11. Let the cake cool completely on the cooling rack
  12. For Ganache sauce :Take a mirco safe bowl and put cream in it
  13. Micro it for 1 minute and add chopped choclate in it
  14. Now let it stand for 5-7 mins and mix well
  15. Ganache is ready. Let it remain aside. The longer it is left the thicker sauce you get
  16. Once the cake is cooled completely. Demould it and cover with choclate ganache
  17. Grate some white choclate slab and micro chopped almonds for 15 seconds or roast on a pan
  18. Decorate the border of the cake with the white choclate and fill the inner circle with roasted almonds
  19. Cake is ready. Enjoy
