Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole masoor dal 1 cup, soaked for 2-4 hours
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Garlic cloves- 5
  5. Bay leaf 1
  6. Water 2 cups
  7. Green Chilli 1
  8. Mustard oil 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Put in all the ingredients except the mustard oil into the pressure cooker and let it cook till 4-5 whistles blow.
  2. Let the steam escape on its own. Then open the pressure cooker and add in the mustard oil. Mix it well.
  3. Serve it hot with plain rice.
