Chilli Mushroom Fried

Ingredients to make Chilli Mushroom Fried

  • 1 packet mushroom, chopped into two pieces
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 capsicum, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • Spring onions to garnish

How to make Chilli Mushroom Fried

  1. Wash the mushroom and cut it into 2 pieces each.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp oil to heat. Then add the chopped capsicum and fry till it is crispy. Keep it aside.
  3. Now add the mushroom, add 1 tbsp oil, little salt, then stir and add the chilli flakes. Saute till the water evaporates, then remove and add this to fried capsicum.
  4. In the same oil, fry the roughly chopped onion till it is crisp and not too soft. Then remove and add this to the fried mushrooms. Keep it aside.
  5. Take a small bowl, add the ketchup, soya sauce, chilli powder, corn flour and make a thin batter. Keep it aside.
  6. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil to heat, then add the slit green chillies. Stir well and add the ginger-garlic paste, fry and cook till the raw smell evaporates.
  7. Now add in the thin batter, mix it well and cook on a low flame. After 2 minutes, add the fried mushrooms, capsicum, onion, mix well and cook until the raw smell evaporates.
  8. Add the pepper powder and adjust the salt as per taste.
  9. Yummy and tasty chilli mushroom in my style is ready!
