Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg chicken mince
  2. 50 gms (1/2 cup approximately) chana dal
  3. 4 green cardamoms
  4. 1 black cardamom
  5. 1 inch piece of cinnamon stick
  6. 4-5 cloves
  7. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp black pepper (all whole)
  10. 2 inch piece of ginger
  11. 5-6 cloves of garlic
  12. 2-3 dry red chillies
  13. Onion 1 medium sized, chopped
  14. Coriander leaves chopped, 1/2 bunch
  15. 2 Eggs
  16. 1/2 cup water
  17. Salt as per taste
  18. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the minced chicken in a colander and drain out the excess water.
  2. Next, add to it all the ingredients, except the egg, chopped onion and chopped coriander. Then pour in 1/2 cup of water and pressure cook for 15 mins on a low flame.
  3. Let it cool a little and add in the eggs. Grind it well to form a paste.
  4. Now add in the chopped onions and coriander. Then make lemon size balls and flatten them.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till they turn golden brown on a medium flame.
  6. Serve it hot as a snack or starter.
