This delicious dish goes well with puri, parantha, naan, bhatura, roti, they go with everything.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. White chick pea 2 cups
  2. Onion paste 3/4 cup
  3. Onion sliced 1 medium
  4. Tomato chopped 1 medium
  5. Tomato sliced 1 medium
  6. Green chillies, slit in halves 3-4
  7. Green chillies, chopped 2
  8. Hing a pinch
  9. Oil 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp
  10. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  11. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  12. Degi mirch 1 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  14. Chana masala 1 tbsp
  15. Methi leaves 1 tbsp
  16. Ginger, chopped 1 tbsp
  17. Garlic, chopped 1 tbsp
  18. Anardana powder 1/2 tsp
  19. Black cardamoms 3
  20. Cinnamon 1"
  21. Bay leaves 2-3
  22. Tea bag 1
  23. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  24. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana overnight.
  2. In a pressure cooker, boil the chana with 6 cups of water, salt, turmeric and tea bag till it's tender.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp of oil, add in the hing, cumin seeds, anardana powder, black cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamom, laung, degi mirch, ginger, garlic, chopped green chilli, onion paste and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and saute till the oil separates itself.
  4. Take the tea bag out. Take 1 cup of chana, mash it and add it in the pan, then add the chana with it's water.
  5. Next, add coriander powder, chana masala, methi leaves and cook it for 5-8 minutes.
  6. In a tadka pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, then add the slit green chilli, sliced tomatoes and onions. Saute it for a minute, then add it to the chana.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve.

sounds good! but picture is too zoomed in, cant see the dish peoperly
