Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes 6 medium sized, boiled
  2. Onions 2 medium sized, sliced
  3. Hung yogurt 3 tbsp
  4. Oil 2 tbsp
  5. Hing a pinch
  6. Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  8. Garam masala 1 tsp
  9. Mustard seeds 3/4 tsp
  10. Ginger chopped, 1 tbsp
  11. Curry leaves 8-10
  12. Green chillies slit in half, 3-5
  13. Methi leaves 1 tbsp
  14. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  15. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  16. Degi mirch 1 tsp
  17. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  18. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the boiled potatoes into desired size.
  2. Heat oil, then add the hing, mustard seeds, curry leaves, cumin seeds, degi mirch, turmeric powder, chillies, ginger and onions. Saute till it turns translucent in colour.
  3. Add in the yogurt, methi leaves, garam masala, coriander powder, salt and potatoes. Mix it well, then cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Yogurt with aloo makes it khatta, even I have tried this
