Ingredients to make Traditional khaman Dhokla

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 tspn rawa (sooji)
  • 1/4 tsp citric acid
  • 2 tbspn sugar
  • salt as per taste
  • pinch soda
  • for vaghar -oil rai curry leaves chopped chillies
  • 1 pkt eno ( fruit salt )

How to make Traditional khaman Dhokla

  1. Mix all ingredients except eno in besan and make smooth batter in water without lumps
  2. Grease tin n keep aside
  3. Now put water in dhokla stand or kadai or cooker and put on gas
  4. Now add eno to batter n mix well till light n fluffy and pale in color
  5. And pour batter into greased tin already placed in stand
  6. When ready cut dhoklas into square pieces
  7. Heat oil in pan and put all vaghar ingredients ( rai, curry leaves, chopped chillies) and water and sugar(optional ) n pour on dhoklas n ur spongy moist dhoklas are ready for Breakfast????
My Tip: Don't make batter too thick nor watery for perfect dhoklas
