ABOUT Stuffed Papad (Monsoon) RECIPE

In the monsoon we crave for something salty and crispy. I sit in my veranda and enjoy the cats and dogs rainy day. Suddenly my daughter told me she wants papad, so I thought of being a home chef with this innovative papad recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Spicy papad 1 packet
  2. Chopped onion 1 big size
  3. Chopped Carrot 1 cup
  4. Chopped cabbage 1 cup
  5. Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
  6. Oregano 1 tsp
  7. Mixed herbs 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Take a frying pan and heat 2 tsp of oil in it. Then add the chopped onion and stir fry.
  2. Add the chopped cabbage and chopped carrot. Stir it continuously then add salt. Next, add in the red chilli flakes, oregano and mixed herbs. Saute and keep it aside.
  3. Take a big bowl and add 1 glass of water. Dip all the papad one by one into the water and spread it on a plate.
  4. Now take a papad, fill it with the mixed veggies and wrap it with another papad. (If needed add another papad because the fillings should not come out.)
  5. Now add oil and fry the stuffed papad.
  6. Serve these hot and crispy papads instantly.
