Ingredients to make Aaloo Ki Kheer (In Orange Bowls)

  • potatoes boiled and mashed about 3 large sized
  • Condensed milk 1/2 a tin
  • cardamom pods crushed about 4
  • Fresh cream about 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Milk about 2 cups
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • Almonds and cashewnuts, soaked and blended to make a paste about 1/4th cup

How to make Aaloo Ki Kheer (In Orange Bowls)

  1. Blend the mashed potatoes with milk. Then add the condensed milk and the other ingredients as well.
  2. Simmer it on a low to medium heat and occasionally stir it to prevent it from burning. It will be ready in 10-12 mins. ( The consistency depends on your choice. You can thicken it as per your liking.)
  3. Serve it chilled with cream on top.

My Tip:

You can even use sweet potatoes instead of potatoes.
