Steamed Chicken Kofta (Meatballs)

Ingredients to make Steamed Chicken Kofta (Meatballs)

  • 1/2 kg chicken boneless
  • Oats 2 tbsp, roasted and grounded
  • ginger and garlic paste 2 tsp
  • 1 medium sized onion, sliced and fried
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 bunch coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste

How to make Steamed Chicken Kofta (Meatballs)

  1. Wash the chicken and cut it into small pieces. Then grind it well into a fine texture.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together and divide this mixture into 15-18 balls.
  3. Arrange these balls on a non-stick pan that can be covered well.
  4. Cook them on a low flame for 5 minutes. Then turn the sides and cook it once again covered for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve them hot as a snack or starter.

My Tip:
