Ingredients to make Sabudana seekh kabab on tava

  • 4 medium sized boiled potatoes
  • 250 gms soaked sabudana (overnight)
  • 100 gms roasted peanuts powder (Coarsely)
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes (I used crushed whole red chillies)
  • 1 tbsp curd
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves (optional)

How to make Sabudana seekh kabab on tava

  1. Add boiled and mashed potatoes together with sago. Mix with roasted peanuts powder, curd, red chilli flakes, salt, sugar and coriander leaves.
  2. Mix all and make it like a dough. Put small portion of this dough onto the seekh or skewers.
  3. Apply oil lightly on the seekhs with the help of fingers. Heat oil on a flat tava, keep the flame medium.
  4. Put the seekh kababs on tawa, flip them regularly till it is crisp and cooked. Serve hot with sauce or chutney.

Enjoy with green chutney.
