Chicken Nachos

Ingredients to make Chicken Nachos

  • Ready made Nachos
  • 250 gms chicken minced
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 4 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoon cream cheese / liquid cheese
  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

How to make Chicken Nachos

  1. For Salsa sauce: In a pan pour few drops of oil and fry finely chopped tomatoes. Let it cook for 5 mins with pan covered. Add salt, pepper and mixed herbs as per taste.
  2. Add 100 ml water and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. The salsa sauce is ready. Keep aside to cool.
  3. For chicken mince: In a pan pour a few drops of oil and add the chicken mince to it. Stir well for 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper and mixed herbs as per taste and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas and let it cook.
  4. Serving the nachos: In a fancy dish or tray lay the packet nachos. One by one, one next to the other, do not layer the nachos. Once the dish is full of nachos, evenly spread the salsa sauce on top of it.
  5. The next layer will be of chicken mince which also needs to be evenly spread. On top of this spread mayonnaise and cream / liquid cheese. Add a few olives on top and sprinkle the spring onions and serve.

My Tip:

Prepare the tray just before serving else the nachos will turn soggy.
