Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Chocolate cake base:
  2. 2 cup maida
  3. 1 tsp baking soda
  4. 1 tsp baking powder
  5. 8 tbsp of coco powder
  6. 1 cup sugar
  7. Gems a few
  8. Fondant bird 1

Instructions

  1. For the cake base, mix sugar, milk, butter and curd in a big bowl. Stir continuously so that there are no lumps.
  2. Now add in all the dry ingredients. Mix it well, cake batter is ready.
  3. Bake for 50 minutes at 180 degree centigrade.
  4. Dry roast the sewai, add 5 tbsp of sugar and a little bit of water. Mix together and add 1 tsp of coco powder.
  5. For assembling :
  6. Cut the cake into two parts. Take 1 part, put 4 tsp of sugar syrup and put whipped cream on it.
  7. Take the other part and make a hole in the centre. Place this part on whipped cream and cover the whole cake with cream. Stick all the sewai on the cake as shown in the image. Fill the cavity with gems and place the fondant bird.
