Honey Herb Chicken (Sweet and Tangy)

Ingredients to make Honey Herb Chicken (Sweet and Tangy)

  • chicken breast 500 gms
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Cayenne pepper powder 1 tsp (according to taste)
  • honey 2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic (1 tsp) I used garlic bread seasoning
  • Basil 1/2 tsp
  • Thyme 1/2 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tsp (roasted)
  • olive oil 2 tbsp
  • butter with herbs 2 tbsp
  • salt as required.

How to make Honey Herb Chicken (Sweet and Tangy)

  1. Wash and cut chicken breast in small pieces.
  2. In a bowl mix chicken, soya sauce, cayenne pepper and a tsp of olive oil. Keep aside.
  3. In other bowl mix honey and crushed garlic.
  4. Preheat the oven for 200 degree centigrade.
  5. Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan and add chicken. Cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add honey and saute for 5 minutes and turn the gas off.
  7. Add all the herbs, butter and transfer in a greased pan.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes. Add cream and serve with lime yogurt sauce.

My Tip:

If lime yogurt sauce is not available, then sprinkle lime juice over the chicken while serving. This is also optional. As some enjoy the taste of honey with soya sauce. I prepared lime yogurt sauce.
