Rice Vermicelli Sweet Rolls

Ingredients to make Rice Vermicelli Sweet Rolls

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Make a soft dough, keep aside for 1/2 hour
  • For Filling:
  • Prepare rice vermicelli 50 grams, according to the packet instructions. Drain, keep aside to cool.
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp almond coarsely powdered
  • 2 tbsp walnut coarsely powdered
  • 2 tbsp cashews coarsely powdered
  • sugar according to your taste (I have used 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • oil for shallow fry

How to make Rice Vermicelli Sweet Rolls

  1. Heat the pan, add ghee and fry the cooked rice vermicelli for 2 minutes. Turn off the flame, keep aside to cool.
  2. Take a dry bowl, to this add all the dry nuts with this, add sugar and cardamom mix well.
  3. Add the cooked rice vermicelli and mix gently.
  4. Make rolls by taking small portions of the dough, roll it thin and stuff the rice vermicelli nuts mixture. Roll it tightly and seal it with maida paste.
  5. Shallow fry the rice vermicelli roll till brown in colour on a low flame.
  6. Sprinkle powdered sugar and drizzle some honey, yummy rice vermicelli roll is ready.
