Ingredients to make Cauliflower 65

  • cauliflower florets 10 to 12 pieces
  • 2 tbsp chilli paste
  • cauliflower florets 10 to 12 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbs coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 lime's juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp besan flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • oil for frying
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 red chillies
  • ginger 1 tsp finely chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic finely chopped
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

How to make Cauliflower 65

  1. Wash and chop the cauliflower florets into small pieces and blanch in the hot boiling water for 5 - 7 minutes or until it becomes slightly soft but still firm.
  2. In a bowl add salt, red chilli paste, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets and mix well. To this add rice flour, besan flour, corn flour and maida. Sprinkle some water, make sure the florets coats well. Keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat the pan, add enough oil. When oil is hot, drop the cauliflower florets one by one and deep fry until golden brown in colour. Keep aside.
  5. Take another pan, add 1 tsp oil when oil is hot add mustard, when it crackles, add chopped ginger garlic paste and stir for 2 minutes. Add chopped onions, stir, add sugar and a little salt. Check and add more salt if needed. Stir and add broken dry chilli.
  6. Turn off the flame and serve hot.
