Ingredients to make Tender Coconut Rose Cookies

  • 350 gms all purpose flour
  • 125 gms Powdered sugar (adjust the sweetness according to your taste)
  • 300 gms Unsalted butter
  • 150 gms Desiccated coconut powder
  • 30 gms cashew powder (Optional)
  • 1/2 tbsp Rose water

How to make Tender Coconut Rose Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven 180 degree centigrade.
  2. Sift the all purpose flour, then mix well with coconut powder and cashew powder, keep aside.
  3. Combine the butter and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well with the help of a spatula till the mixture turns light and creamy, add rose water to it.
  4. Add the flour mixture and make the smooth dough.
  5. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Shape the cookies as you desire. I piped the dough with 1 M nozzle and arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake the cookies in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree centigrade for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye after 15 minutes, depending on your oven.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool completely before eating.
