Mango Sandana

Ingredients to make Mango Sandana

  • 1 cup Idli rava (sooji)
  • coconut Milk (Thick) 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • saffron strands as per taste
  • mango pulp 1/2 cup

How to make Mango Sandana

  1. Add coconut milk in rava and keep it aside for half an hour.
  2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom powder, mango pulp and saffron strands.
  3. Mix all things properly and keep it aside for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Later put the mixture in a plate and steam it like a dhokla.
  5. Steam it for 15 minutes.
  6. Once it cools down, cut it into pieces and serve.

My Tip:

This recipe is usually done without using mango pulp. I have made it using mango pulp.
