Coconut Cheese Patties

Ingredients to make Coconut Cheese Patties

  • Boiled potatoes 6-7 medium
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp cashews
  • 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • Grated fresh coconut 5 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs as required to bind potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Coconut Cheese Patties

  1. Mash potatoes, add bread crumbs, salt and black pepper. Make dough. In another bowl, mix coconut, cashews, raisins, grated cheese, capsicum, salt and pepper.
  2. Now take little potato mix, Hollow it and fill coconut mixture and pack it tightly to make balls.
  3. Heat the oil and deep fry till golden brown. Serve with green chutney and imli chutney.

My Tip:

Roast a little, grated coconut before use so that the mixture is not watery.
