Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Cups Dosa / Idli Batter
  2. 1 Medium Onion finely chopped
  3. 1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
  4. 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  5. 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida
  6. 7 Curry Leaves finely chopped
  7. 1 Tsp Ginger finely chopped
  8. 2 Tbsp Cilantro finely chopped
  9. 1 Tsp Green Chillies finely chopped
  10. as per need Oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add batter, add onion, green chilies, ginger,curry leaves, cilantro and salt.
  2. In a pan, add 1 tbsp oil, asafoetida,mustard and cumin seeds. when they start to splutter , add this to batter mixture. Mix well.
  3. Heat the appe pan, on medium heat. Apply little oil to the pan and pour 1 Tbsp of the batter in each of the holes. Cover it with lid and let it cook for 2 mins.
  4. Check if the appe's are loose to leave the sides easily without scrapping them. Turn the appe upside down and cook without covering the pan for another 1 min.
  5. Repeat this till entire batter is consumed. Enjoy with lovely Curry Leaves Chutney. :)
