Yummy and delicious Butter Egg Curry

Ingredients to make Yummy and delicious Butter Egg Curry

  • eggs 4
  • tomato 5 to 6 large
  • onion 1 big
  • garlic, grated 1 tsp
  • ginger, grated 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Egg curry masala 2 tsp
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi roasted 2 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp
  • oil for seasoning
  • Fresh cream 1 tbsp

How to make Yummy and delicious Butter Egg Curry

  1. Hard boil the eggs. Let it cool, peel and keep aside.
  2. Grind onion, ginger, garlic to a smooth paste. Boil the tomatoes for 7 to 8 minutes, cool and puree in a blender as well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion paste and saute till brown. Add all masala mentioned (except kasoori methi).
  4. Saute and add tomato. Add a little sugar to retain their colour of tomato. Saute for 10 minutes.
  5. Add kasoori methi, salt and fresh cream. Cut eggs half and add to the curry. Serve with paratha or rice.

My Tip:

Add 1 tsp of beetroot juice for red colour in the gravy.
