Spaghetti puttanesca

Ingredients to make Spaghetti puttanesca

  • 2 cups cooked spagetti
  • For the Sauce:
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum, chopped
  • 2 tbsp celery, chopped
  • 2 cups tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried mix herbs
  • 1 tsp dry chilli flakes
  • Green chilli sauce 4 tbsp
  • Tobasco sauce 4 tbsp
  • 10 to 12 black olives, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • For garnishing:
  • Parmesan cheese as per choice

How to make Spaghetti puttanesca

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and saute the garlic and capsicum in it for about 1 minute.
  2. Add in the celery, tomatoes, salt and mix well. Add in the mixed herbs, chilli flakes, olives and pepper.
  3. Saut for 4 to 5 minutes. Add the sauces and mix well. Toss in the spaghetti, red wine and mix well. Serve immediately, garnished with the parmesan cheese.

My Tip:

Make this as close to serving time as possible. Reheating this dish is not a good idea because all the flavours need to be fresh.
