Pineapple vanilla pastries

Ingredients to make Pineapple vanilla pastries

  • all purpose flour 2 cups
  • Powdered sugar 1 3/4 cups
  • Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • eggs 6
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • milk to adjust consistency
  • Cherry to decorate

How to make Pineapple vanilla pastries

  1. Separate egg yolks from whites
  2. Whisk egg whites till it forms peak like
  3. Sift flour, baking powder,baking soda together
  4. Mix oil and sugar, till sugar dissolves ,add egg yolks, vanilla extract and mix well
  5. Now mix sugar mixture with egg whites
  6. Slowly mix in flour mixture with cut and fold technique .
  7. Grease baking dish and pour batter
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes at 180°C
  9. Add pineapple essence in cream and whisk till it doubles ,fill some in piping bag,and keep both in refrigerator
  10. If cake is baked in large flat baking dish then cut in four parts,and if baked in normal baking dish then with thread or sharp knife make slices two or three
  11. now place one part of cake and sprinkle pineapple juice or syrup ,then make a thin layer of cream over it ,add chopped pineapple pieces,cover with other layer of cake repeat with pineapple syrup ,cream and pineapple chunks
  12. Repeat this for as many layers one wants to make
  13. To the top layer spread cream neatly and level the cake
  14. now cut the cake in desired shapes and sizes
  15. Take piping bag with desired nozzle, make design and garnish with chopped pineapple chunks add cherry

My Tip:

To give finishing touch ,while applying cream, heat water ,dip in the knife and then make smooth surface on cream
