Ingredients to make Choco-Coconut Delight

  • 2 cups freshly grated coconut
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 80 gms dark chocolate
  • 100 gms dried khoa
  • 50 ml milkmaid
  • Handfull of almonds , raisins and cashewnuts

How to make Choco-Coconut Delight

  1. 1. Soak the dry fruits in warm water for 10 minutes
  2. 2. Microwave the almonds for 50 seconds in high power.Crush the cashews and separate the raisins in a dry place.
  3. 3. Blend the coconut and sugar in a mixie. Cook the mixture in a deep bottomed non-stick Kadai for 10 minutes on a medium flame.Stir constantly.
  4. 4. Add the crushed khowa kheer and milkmaid.Stir for 10 minutes again.
  5. 5. While stirring the mixture microwave the roughly chopped dark chocolate for 1 minute on high power.
  6. 6. Switch off the flame of the kadai.Add the chocolate and fold gently with a spatula.Pour the mix immediately on a loose bottomed cake tin (7 "). Spread and press the mixture evenly.
  7. 7. Garnish it with the dry fruits and refrigerate for 1hour 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Demould , cut , serve and have a blast !!!

My Tip:

While decorating the delight with the dry fruits, press them softly on it ,otherwise they will be loosen while setting.
