Fried Ice cream

Ingredients to make Fried Ice cream

  • Vanilla ice cream scoops
  • Cornflakes 3 cups
  • Shredded coconut 1 cup
  • Beaten egg 1
  • cinnamon powder ½ tsp

How to make Fried Ice cream

  1. Freeze the ice cream scoops in the freezer to make it solid hard rock.
  2. Remove it from the fridge and dip the scoop in the beaten egg and it in the mixture.
  3. Again dip the ice cream scoop ball in the beaten egg & roll it again in the mixture
  4. Now put it in the freezer for 2 hrs or until it is set enough. Heat oil
  5. Remove ice-cream scoop from the freezer. Deep fry them till they turn golden brown. It takes 30 seconds.
  6. Serve it with honey or chocolate sauce toppings

My Tip:

Substitution for eggs (Any one of the following will work): 1. Make a mixture of all purpose flour (maida) with water 2. Make a mixture of cornflour with water. Other Variations: You can use also use sponge cake for coating. You can use fresh bread crumbs You can make the scoop and keep it overnight in the freezer. Don’t fry the scoop for a long time otherwise your ice cream will start oozing out.
