Ingredients to make White Chocolate Coconut Truffles

  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbls butter
  • 7 once White chocolate
  • 1 tsp rum (optional)
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup dried coconut flakes for decoration

How to make White Chocolate Coconut Truffles

  1. Add chocolate, cream and butter in a microwave safe bowl and heat it for 20 seconds.
  2. Stir it and heat it for another 20 seconds.
  3. Repeat until the chocolate is melted and well-incorporated with butter and cream.
  4. Be very careful while heating up chocolate since its very sensitive to heat.
  5. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate on the gas top by heating a pan of water on low heat. Place the bowl with chocolate, cream, butter on top of it making sure the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir until the chocolate is melted.
  6. Stir in coconut flakes, rum (if using)
  7. Let it cool down and refrigerate the mixture for a couple of hours until the mixture gets firm enough to roll it into balls.
  8. Make small balls and roll each ball into coconut flakes.
