Banana Coconut Smoothie/ Rasayan

Ingredients to make Banana Coconut Smoothie/ Rasayan

  • 4 - 5 ripe Elakki bananas or any other ripe bananas
  • 1 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup grated jaggery (Add according to your taste)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp cashewnuts, chopped

How to make Banana Coconut Smoothie/ Rasayan

  1. Chop the bananas and refrigerate for a while.
  2. Grind coconut along with water to get a fine paste, strain this using a strainer. Extract thick coconut milk (use only milk).
  3. Add jaggery, stir well till jaggery dissolves.
  4. Add chopped bananas, cashews and cardamom powder, mix till well combined.
  5. Refrigerate this for sometime, serve chilled.
