Ingredients to make Thenga Maanga Soya Sundal

  • Soya Beans – ½ cup
  • mango – 1/2 cup
  • Cocunut – I tblsp heaped
  • turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Chili Powder – ½ tsp
  • curry leaves - few
  • salt – to taste
  • Chopped onion - 1/2 cup

How to make Thenga Maanga Soya Sundal

  1. Soak soya beans overnight.
  2. Pressure cook for 5 whistles as it is very hard. Strain the water completely.
  3. Take a Pan, heat a teaspoon of coconut oil in it and add hing. Immediately add mustard seeds, allow to splutter.
  4. Immediately add cooked and strained soybeans and raw mango.
  5. Add chili powder, salt, curry leaves, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Lastly, add coconut and immediately switch off.
