Ingredients to make Tutti frutti coconut filled circles

  • 8 bread slices
  • 1/2 cup dessicated coconut
  • 1/2 cup milk solids
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • Tutti frutti as required
  • Dry fruits as per choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tsp plain flour

How to make Tutti frutti coconut filled circles

  1. Take the milk solid in a nonstick pan and heat on a medium low flame.
  2. Cook till it turns into brown colour.
  3. Transfer it in a bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 2 tsp powdered sugar, desiccated coconut, tutti frutti, dry fruits in the milk solid. The filling is ready.
  5. Cut the bread slices in round shape by a cookie cutter.
  6. Take 4 tsp plain flour and add 3 tsp water and prepare a thick paste.
  7. Take a bread slice, put a small amount of prepared filling on it.
  8. Brush the sides and corners of the bread with the prepared paste. Now keep another bread slice on it and press it a little by your hand.
  9. Toast those prepared round circles in a non stick pan with some butter.
  10. In a pan add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  11. Dip the toasted filled circles in the sugar syrup and keep aside to cool.
  12. Sprinkle some desiccated coconut on it and some tutti frutti. Serve.
