Ingredients to make Chicken Lehsuni

  • chicken on bone/boneless 500 grams
  • vinegar 1 tsp
  • garlic cloves 22 - 24
  • ginger 1 inch
  • Green chilli pickle 1
  • Hung curd 2 tbsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Tandoori red color 1/4 tsp

How to make Chicken Lehsuni

  1. Take chicken without washing, add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp vinegar and keep it aside for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, wash the chicken.
  2. For the marination: take garlic cloves, ginger, green chilli pickle, hung curd, pinch of salt, red chilli, garam masala and tandoori red colour. Grind all these ingredients into a paste.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the paste for a minimum of 1-2 hours.
  4. Put the marinated chicken in a non-stick pan without using any oil.
  5. Cook on high till the chicken boils. Lower the heat and cover the pan. Cook for another 15 minutes or till the chicken is tender.
  6. If there is a little gravy in the chicken, cook on high till it becomes dry.
  7. Chicken lehsuni is ready. Serve with green chutney and onions.
