Coconut Barfi

Ingredients to make Coconut Barfi

  • 1 fresh coconut scraped (2 bowl scraped coconut)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon crushed cashews
  • 2 teaspoon crushed almonds
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • ghee for greasing

How to make Coconut Barfi

  1. Take a non stick pan, first roast some scraped fresh coconut till light pink in colour.
  2. Add sugar into the coconut. Mix it with the coconut very well.
  3. Add milk into the mixture. Stir it periodically till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and all the mixture gets absorbed in the milk.
  4. At this point of time, add crushed cashews and almonds. Mix it very well.
  5. Finally add cardamom powder and mix it very well.
  6. Gently spread this whole mixture on a greased plate with the help of a spatula. Allow it to cool down.
  7. Finally cut the barfies into diamond shapes or as you like and enjoy.
