Eggless Coconut Malai Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Coconut Malai Cake

  • maida - 1 cup
  • sugar powder - 3/4 cup
  • malai - 3/4 cup
  • coconut powder - 1 /2 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup and as required
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry fruits (like walnut, cashew, kishmish, etc) and Tooty fruity for garnishing.
  • oil for greasing

How to make Eggless Coconut Malai Cake

  1. Mix sugar powder in malai and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix baking powder and soda in maida and sieve 4 times.
  3. Mix in the coconut powder in maida.
  4. Mix one by one, spoon in the maida mixture in the sweet malai.
  5. Add roasted chopped dry fruits and tooty fruity.
  6. Pour this mixture in greased tin.
  7. Bake it in a preheated oven on 180 degree for 30 minutes. Cool and than demould.

My Tip:

Place silver foil in the tin before pouring the batter.
