Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cup cooked rice
  2. 1/2 garam flour
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. Chopped 1 onion
  5. finely chopped 2 tsps coriander powder
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp fennel
  9. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  10. 1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander leavesSalt to taste
  11. a pinch of asafetida
  12. Oil for frying Method

Instructions

  1. Mix together all the ingredients, except oil and make a firm dough using water as required.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan. Shape the dough into small balls and deep fry until golden.
  3. Alternatively you can also steam the balls.
  4. Serve hot with chutney and ketchup!
