ABOUT 3 - Minute No Oil Almond Butter Cake RECIPE

Mug cakes are loved by one and all. They are super quick and easy - ready within a couple of minutes, requiring a handful of ingredients. Doesn't that sound good to the ear? I have never tried my hands at a mug cake before. But I really wanted to give it a try.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 tbsp - Almond butter (I used home made)
  2. 2 tbsp Barley flour
  3. 2 tbsp - Rice flour (you may skip both the flours and substitute with wheat flour instead)
  4. 2 tsp - powdered sugar
  5. 2 tbsp milk
  6. Dalchini/cinnamon powder as per taste
  7. 1 tbsp - thick curd
  8. 1/4 tsp - baking soda

Instructions

  1. Mix barley and rice flour. Add in the baking soda. Keep aside.
  2. Mix almond butter, curd, cinnamon, sugar and milk in a separate bowl.
  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients. Just fold in the ingredients. Do not over mix.
  4. Pour in a greased microwave-proof mug and bake for 2-3 minutes at high. No convection settings. You can do this in your microwave oven as well.
  5. Let the cake cool down and then cut into pieces.
