Ingredients to make Nariyal ki meethi puri

  • 2 cup fine semolina
  • 1 cup fresh coconut scraped
  • 1 cup khoya
  • 1/2 cup sugar (Powdered)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee for the dough
  • 1 cup ghee for deep frying
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour for dusting

How to make Nariyal ki meethi puri

  1. Take semolina in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of ghee add enough water. Knead into a dough. Cover with a cloth and rest for 2 hours.
  2. Take coconut, khoya, powdered sugar, cardamom powder in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Make small puris from the dough. Place a portion of coconut stuffing in the centre, close in all the edges and shape into a ball. Flatten with your hand slightly, keep aside.
  4. Heat sufficient ghee in kadai and deep fry till light golden in colour and crispy.
  5. Place on an absorbent paper. Sprinkle some coconut on puri and serve hot.
