ABOUT Moong Dal Fritters RECIPE

Extremely delish.. I added purslane leaves to make them more healthier.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Moong dal or yellow lentils 1 cup.
  2. Yoghurt 3 tbsp.
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Asafoetida a pinch.
  5. Baking soda 1/4 th tsp.
  6. Green chillies about 3 to 4.
  7. Coriander leaves a handful.
  8. Purslane leaves half a bunch.
  9. Coriander and cumin powders a tsp each.

Instructions

  1. Soak the dal for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Grind it coarsely with green chillies and curd.
  3. Add the other ingredients to the dal mix.
  4. Drop small balls of the mix in hot oil.
  5. Fry on medium to low flame.
  6. Serve hot with any sauce.
