3 LAYERED SANDESH

Ingredients to make 3 LAYERED SANDESH

  • Chena / cottage cheese (made from 1 litre milk)
  • sugar - 3 1/2 tablespoon
  • Vanilla Essence - 2 drops
  • Chocolate Essence - 1 drop
  • Cocoa powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dark Compound - 50 grams
  • milk Compound - 50 grams

How to make 3 LAYERED SANDESH

  1. Add Chena and Sugar in a pan and put it on a high flame for 6 - 7 mins. Stir it continuously.
  2. Now, turn off the flame and let the mixture cool for 5 mins.
  3. Now churn the mixture in a mixer grinder until it becomes a smooth dough.
  4. Take out 1/4th of dough and mix cocoa powder and chocolate essence in it.
  5. Now make 6 small balls of this chocolate dough.
  6. Now, divide the white dough (which is 3/4th of the TOTAL dough) (refer step no. 4) into 6 parts.
  7. Stuff each chocolate ball into each white dough. Now 6 stuffed balls are ready.
  8. Cut both types of compounds (together) into small pieces and microwave for 30 seconds.
  9. Dip one ball into the melted chocolate. Then take it out and put it on a fork and slightly tap it so that extra chocolate will fall. Then slide this ball with the help of a knife on a plate. Repeat this process for rest of the balls.
  10. Deep freeze all the balls for 5 mins.
  11. Cut all the balls into half. Now the delicious sandesh is ready to eat.

My Tip:

While placing the balls on a plate (refer step no. 9), cover the plate with a butter paper so that the balls do not stick to the plate.
