Ingredients to make Chocolate spring rolls

  • Spring rolls sheets as required
  • Semi sweet chocolate bar grated 1/2 cup to 1 cup
  • cinnamon powder 2 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar 1/4 cup
  • maida paste 2 tbsp + water to make a paste
  • oil for frying

How to make Chocolate spring rolls

  1. Finely grated the chocolate bar as required and transfer onto a plate. Keep in the freezer for 10 minutes until hard.
  2. Take out one spring roll sheet, spread the grated chocolate on it.
  3. Roll the sheets with the stuffing inside tightly closed with the help of maida paste.
  4. Repeat with the rest of the rolls and refrigerate for 5 minutes. Deep fry in hot oil.
  5. While refrigerating, in a blender take 1 or 2 cinnamon stick, 2 to 3 tbsp sugar and grind as a fine powder. Keep aside.
  6. Once the spring rolls are fried and are golden brown in colour, transfer onto the plate containing cinnamon - sugar mixture.
  7. Roll it around to ensure it is well coated.
  8. Serve hot.
