Ingredients to make Chocolate Cooker Cake

  • flour 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup
  • water 1/2 cup
  • eggs 2
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • salt 1 teaspoon

How to make Chocolate Cooker Cake

  1. In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  2. Add in the butter, sugar, salt, water, vanilla, and beat the ingredients using a whisk.
  3. Add the eggs and beat the batter until smooth.
  4. Transfer into the baking tin.
  5. Add salt in the cooker covering its base and heat the pressure cooker, covered with the lid but without the pressure, for 3-4 minutes on high heat, then place the cake tin in the cooker on top of the salt.
  6. Close the lid (without the pressure), lower the flame and let it cook until done (about 30 minutes).
  7. Yummy chocolate cake is ready to eat.

My Tip:

Do not forget to remove the whistle from the lid of the cooker.
