Eggless Brownie

Ingredients to make Eggless Brownie

  • maida 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • sugar 100 grams
  • butter 50 grams
  • curd - 3 tsp
  • Chocolate sauce 4 tsp
  • Instant Coffee Powder 1 tsp
  • Cocoa powder 1 tsp

How to make Eggless Brownie

  1. In a mixing bowl add the the curd beat nicely.
  2. Add the melted butter and sugar and mix till sugar dissolves completely .
  3. Add the chocolate sauce, cocoa powder and the instant coffee powder, stir and mix nicely without lumps.
  4. Add the vanilla essence and mix.
  5. Sieve the maida, baking powder and baking soda.
  6. Add them to the mixture. Mix gently to make a smooth batter.
  7. Grease tha cake pan with butter and pour the batter into it.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180° C for 10 mins and bake the cake for 30-35mins. Mine was done in 30 mins.
  9. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven, let it cool dowm completely, invert, cut and serve.

My Tip:

Baking time will differ according to the type and size of cake pan used and the type of oven. So start checking before the mentioned time.

yes you can, put a stand in the cooker for the cake pan, Preheat cooker for 10 mins. remove the gasket and whistle from the cooker cover. Place the cake pan cover and bake in low heat but not completely simmer, baking time in cooker is little longer than oven
