Chocolate filled log biscuits

Ingredients to make Chocolate filled log biscuits

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cooking chocolates cut into thin logs
  • A pinch of salt

How to make Chocolate filled log biscuits

  1. First sieve all purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, coffee powder and baking powder together. Keep it aside.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla essence till light and fluffy.
  3. Slowly add in sieved flour in the butter mixture and combine to form a dough. Let it rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes take a generous pinch of the dough, flatten in between palms and fill it with chocolate and shape into logs.
  5. Bake this in a preheated oven at 180 degree centigrade for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Store in an airtight container, once cooled.
