Ingredients to make Chocolate Cups

  • 110 gms or two big bars of cooking or dark chocolate (more than 55% cocoa)
  • Fresh fruits like kiwi, strawberry, grapes
  • Vanila ice cream 1 brick
  • For strawberry jam:
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • sugar 4 tbsp or as per sweetness of strawberries.

How to make Chocolate Cups

  1. For strawberry jam: Wash and chop the strawberries. Heat a pan, add strawberries, sugar and 1 tsp lime juice. Stir continuously. When it becomes thick, turn off the flame and let it cool. Keep it an airtight container in the fridge.
  2. For chocolate cups: Chop the chocolate and put it in a heat proof pan and melt it with a double boiler method. (Gradual heating is very important here).
  3. Pour it in lined muffin cups. Spread all around, now keep it in the fridge to harden.
  4. Carefully take them out, remove the liner slowly to prevent any breakage. Fill it with vanilla icecream, strawberry, kiwi and grapes. Garnish it with strawberry jam and serve.

My Tip:

Take muffins size cups so can bite easily. Filling can be changed as per your taste and available ingredients. Garnish with chocolate sauce or any jam.
