Ingredients to make Edible Chocolate Glasses

  • Morde brand dark chocolate 200 gms
  • Vanilla custard 1 cup
  • Fresh seasonal fruits chopped 1 cup
  • Vanilla icecream 1 cup
  • Chocolate sauce to drizzle

How to make Edible Chocolate Glasses

  1. I have used disposable small chai wala plastic glasses, cut off the top slightly.
  2. Melt chocolate in a microwave or by using double boiler method.
  3. Melt the chocolate in the microwave in bursts of 30 seconds. Mix to ensure, it has melted.
  4. Fill one plastic chai glass with the melted chocolate, ensure that the whole cup is covered.
  5. Pour out the excess chocolate out of it into the next cup and so on until all glasses are coated well with chocolate.
  6. Put all the glasses in the fridge for 3 hours. I kept it for 24 hours ensuring it sets well.
  7. Take out the glasses, tear out the plastic from the slit from where original cut was marked.
  8. This has to be done with a little bit of patience, if done too fast the glasses would crack. Put them back in the fridge.
  9. Now make fillings of your choice. Use icecream with chocolate sauce or Vanilla custard with seasonal fruits or with mousse.
  10. To make vanilla custard: Boil milk and add vanilla custard powder to it. Add sugar too.
  11. Stir continuously so that it does not stick to bottom of the pan. Cool and keep in the fridge to set.
  12. Chop the seasonal fruits. Take out the chilled glasses.
  13. Fill with ice cream scoop. Put chopped fruit pieces. Drizzle chocolate sauce over it. Garnish with mint leaves.

My Tip:

Keep the fillings ready beforehand and serve immediately or chocolate glasses would start to melt.
