Baked Veg Pasta

Ingredients to make Baked Veg Pasta

  • 250 gms penne pasta
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt as per taste
  • water as required
  • 3 tbsp refined four
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • oregano 1 tsp
  • chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 3 cups grated cheese
  • butter as required
  • 1 cup vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, corn, onions, mushrooms)

How to make Baked Veg Pasta

  1. Add some oil in a heavy bottomed vessel. Add four cups of water and let it boil. Add pasta and cook it till it is al dente.
  2. Chop the garlic and the vegetables.
  3. Heat some butter in a pan. Saute the garlic and the vegetables. Season it with some salt, oregano and chilly flakes. Add the rosemary according to your taste.
  4. Keep the vegetables aside. Heat some butter in another vessel. Add refined flour. Add milk and grated cheese and keep stirring. No lumps should be formed. Keep stirring till the sauce is thick. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grease a baking dish. Mix the pasta with the sauce and vegetables. Season it with more oregano and chilly flakes. Add the remaining grated cheese.
  6. Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake the pasta for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.

My Tip:

You can use green chilli instead of chilli flakes. This pasta can also be made in red sauce. You can also add chicken or bacon instead of vegetables.
