Thick Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients to make Thick Chocolate Ganache

  • Compound chocolate : 500 gms
  • Amul fresh cream : 200 ml
  • Unsalted butter : 1 tbsp, melted

How to make Thick Chocolate Ganache

  1. Take compound chocolate in a bowl. Break it into small pieces.
  2. Microwave it for 30 seconds. Mix it and again microwave it for 30 seconds. Mix it, now the compound chocolate should have become a little soft. Keep aside.
  3. Take cream in a bowl. Microwave it for 30 seconds, do not warm it more than that.
  4. Pour it over soft semi melted chocolate, after 2 seconds start mixing. Microwave it for 30 seconds, take it out and give it a good mix.
  5. Repeat the process if you still see the pieces of chocolate.
  6. When all the chocolate is melted and mixed properly with cream, ganache is ready.
  7. Add in the melted butter to the ganache and mix well.
  8. Ganache can be used as icing on cakes or it can be used as a filling in buns. Use it the way you like it.

My Tip:

Can be stored for 1 week without keeping in the fridge. After that keep it in fridge. Stays good for 1 month. Keep it covered. If ganache becomes thick, just warm it for 30 seconds.
