Jalebi

Ingredients to make Jalebi

  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 2 Tsp Gram Flour
  • 1/2 Cup boiled and mashed Potato
  • 1 Tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tsp citric acid
  • 2 Tsp curd
  • Sugar Syrup as per choice/requirement
  • Rose essence 2- 3 drops
  • Yellow Food colouring 3 - 4 drops
  • Oil or Ghee for frying
  • Milk as required
  • 1 empty glass bottle

How to make Jalebi

  1. Batter should have medium consistency
  2. Heat Oil in a Kadhai
  3. Fill the empty bottle with the batter
  4. Make sure the oil is hot, pour and make round circles of the batter
  5. When it turns slightly brownish, transfer the jalebi in the sugar syrup.
