Brownie Magic

Ingredients to make Brownie Magic

  • Plain flour 1 1/2 cups
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • eggs 3
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk 3/4 cup
  • Chocolate ganache to spread on top
  • For the Ganache: 1 cup milk
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Castor sugar 3/4 cup
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp of cornflour (Optional)

How to make Brownie Magic

  1. Cream the sugar, eggs and the oil.
  2. Stir in the vanilla essence
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients well and fold in slowly into the egg-oil-sugar mixture while adding buttermilk.
  4. Grease a baking pan either square or round one and pour in the batter.
  5. Tap it once gently and bake it in a preheated fan assisted oven on 180 degree centigrade for about 20 to 22 minutes.
  6. Top it with ganache after it cools down.
  7. For the chocolate ganache: Mix all the ingredients in a pan. Heat it on a low flame and keep stirring it until it thickens. You can also add 2 tbsp of cornflour if you are not using caster sugar. Cool it down and use as required.
  8. Serve them with vanilla icecream.
