Ingredients to make Piyush

  • cardamom - Saffron flavored shrikhand 1 1/2 cups
  • curd 3/4 to 1 cup
  • Milk 2 to 3 tbsp
  • sugar as required
  • 1/4 tsp Green cardamom powder
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg powder
  • 6 to 7 pistachios, sliced
  • 1 to 2 pinches of saffron

How to make Piyush

  1. Take the shrikhand, yogurt, milk, sugar, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder in a mixing bowl. Just blend everything well till smooth and creamy.
  2. You can also blend in a jar using an electric blender. Keep the piyush in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Pour the chilled piyush in glasses, and top with pistachio slices and saffron.
  4. Serve the Piyush immediately.

My Tip:

We can also prepare it from mango shrikhand.
