Goan style bangda fish fry with a special fish masala.

Ingredients Serving: 9

  1. Bangda fish pieces 8 to 9, cleaned
  2. For fish masala powder:
  3. Whole red chillies (dried ones) 4
  4. Whole jeera 2 tsp
  5. Whole coriander 2 tsp
  6. Whole sauf 1 tsp
  7. Whole rai 1 tsp
  8. For marination:
  9. Fish masala powder 2 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  11. Lemon 1
  12. Oil 2 tbsp
  13. Water 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish and keep aside. In bowl add fish masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon, oil, water and marinate. Keep for 15 minutes.
  2. For fish masala powder - Roast all ingredients together and then grind it.
  3. After marinating, heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it.
